Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your Google profile email.
• Photos you upload for hairline analysis, and the age/gender you provide alongside them.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general product analytics.
• Payment and subscription status (handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your card details).

How we use it

We use your photos and info to generate your HairCount score, coaching plan, and haircut recommendations; to process payments and manage your subscription; to operate and improve the app; and, if you've opted in, to send you reminder notifications.

Third parties we use

• Supabase — account authentication, database, and photo storage.
• OpenAI — processes your photos to generate hairline analysis.
• Whop — processes subscription payments.
• PostHog — product analytics.

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service, under their own privacy policies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us — see Contact below.

Age requirement

HairCount is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional notifications, at any time from Settings or by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
